Common Questions
Do I need coaching certifications?
We value competitive swimming experience and the ability to teach technique. Certifications are a plus but not required. What matters most is your knowledge and your ability to connect with swimmers.
How many hours per week?
Completely up to you. Some coaches work a few sessions per week, others coach more. You set your own availability and pick the sessions that work for your schedule.
Where are the lessons held?
We coach at pool locations across the greater Ann Arbor area, including Saline and Whitmore Lake. See all locations.
What types of swimmers will I work with?
Everything from beginners learning their first strokes to competitive swimmers training for nationals. Triathletes, fitness swimmers, kids, and adults. You can work with the populations that match your strengths.
