The details matter
Swimmers train hard; we can take that for granted. However, training hard is the bare minimum for long-term success in competitive swimming. If you want to raise your ceiling as a swimmer, it’s all about the details. Often considered an afterthought to one’s training, learning to properly execute race details is essential for a swimmer’s growth. Through the implementation of the latest in research-backed skills, “The Details” will provide your swimmer with an advantage in the pool.
Techniq Group’s “The Details” will offer an intensive, video-driven approach to the fine details of competitive swimming. The new run of topics will include classic courses that are always worth revisiting and some brand-new ones as well. All sessions will be led by technique expert Jeff Gross and supported by other Techniq Group staff and guest coaches as needed.

Dates: April 7, April 28, May 19, June 23
Time: 12:15-1:15 pm
Where: Saline High School, 1300 Campus Drive, Saline, MI
Suggest Equipment: Kick Board, Pull Buoy, Snorkel, Swim Fins
Requirements: Swimmers should have at least a basic understanding of the four competitive strokes. 7th + 8th-grade swimmers must have achieved a minimum of USA swimming regional qualification.

April 7: Elite Block Starts
April 28: “The 5th Stroke”- Dolphin kicking and breakouts
May 19: Backstroke Starts
June 23: Open Turns + Crossover Turns
