Establishing excellent technique is essential for safe swimming and to raise your swimmer’s potential for long-term safety and success in our sport.

“Take Your Mark” will covers all competitive strokes in addition to introducing competitive starts and turns. All sessions will be coached by experienced swim coaches, and written by Techniq Group Founder, Jeff Gross.

• All 4 competitive swim strokes

• Streamline and underwater phases

• Competitive starts + intro to diving

• Flip turns/ open turns

The Details

Location: Whitmore Lake Community Pool

Days: Saturdays

Times (choose 1):

• Techniq 1: 10:30-11:15 am

• Techniq 2: 11:15-12:00 pm

Group Description:

• Techniq 1 - swimmers will cover the four competitive swimming strokes and be introduced to competitive racing starts, flip turns, and underwater phases.

• Techniq 2 - swimmers with competitive swimming experience, or experienced stroke skills, seeking to target stroke development and advanced racing skills.

Prerequisites

To enter Techniq 1, swimmers should have a basic or conception of all 4 competitive strokes and streamlining. All swimmers should be able to safely swim 50 yards with no assistance. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Evaluation Required for New Swimmers: Contact Coach Jeff to reserve a time.

Fees (recurring monthly):

• Whitmore Lake Residents: $115/ month

• Non-residents: $139/ month

Cancelation Policy: Cancellations must be made two weeks before your payment processing date. WITHDRAWL REQUEST

Equipment recommended: swim fins, kickboard (our recommendations)

Class Closures: we will have no class on the following dates- 6/28, 7/5, 8/30, 11/22, 12/27
